Black n White Cap
Black n White Cap
  • Black is either absence or complete absorption of light/color?
  • Black is considered color of exuding power as it hides everything and thus control others.
  • People who like black are considered conventional, conservative and serious.
  • Most fascinating association that Black has made so far, is with Devil. Black is considered the color of Evil.

These were some of the facts about Color Black. Enjoy them, along with my crocheted Black n White Cap. ๐Ÿ˜›

Dealing With Writer’s Block

Dealing With Writer's Block
Dealing With Writer’s Block

Writer’s Block is when you are stuck and not have any thing good to write about. What I am dealing with is somewhat different. I have so much to write about, that I am not able to figure out what to pick next for writing.

It’s like whenever I sit down to write something, normally I would have visualized the starting content by then, but today, the moment I start writing, my mind goes blank. Totally Blank. Not even a sentence or a word.

Dealing With Writer's Block
Dealing With Writer’s Block

Instant I will leave my writing table and would stand up to do some other work (mostly to settle down a intensive fighting session between my kids), ideas will start flowing, along with that visualization thing I told you about. :O

At first I thought, let’s start writing standing up. Maybe, I am sitting for writing that is why I am not able to write (weird right!!!). I was so wrong. It didn’t help. I even tried it lying down, took a nap instead (all thanks to kid for rescuing me from a peaceful sleep ๐Ÿ˜› ).

Then I thought of writing down something on paper, and not on my laptop. I have heard that some still prefer to write using Paper and Pen. How cute? I also loved writing this way, when I was a kid. Not anymore, it’s just a hassle to upload it or transfer it to blog later.

Dealing With Writer's Block

Still, I decided to write on paper. First thing, where is that damn Paper? I have to go through my Kids stationary and bags to find one piece of nice Paper. Working pens?? when was the last time I saw a god working pen? Oh, my husband has stacked all the pens high in cupboard, so that kids won’t get hold of them. I don’t understand, Why my kids are blamed for everything that goes wrong in my house? What do they have to do with breaking of pens?

Dealing With Writer's Block

We will discuss Kids problems later, first I have to find out a pen. So, my hubby has stacked them up high, so high that I have to get help from my elegant yet fatty and quite heavy Chair, to reach the Pens. Got them, finally!!!

1 minute, 2, 5 minutes… almost 10 minutes…. No, I can sit that long without doing nothing. Scrap it. I am not writing anything now. My inner voice is so angry now. Shouting and screaming (only inner voice, not me, not my fault).

Dealing With Writer's Block

Then I got this brilliant idea. Let’s write about, why I am not able to write? Or, what I am going through? Cool!!!!

Don’t curse me. Yeah, I know I have disappointed you with all my blabbering, but I enjoyed it. It’s fun to write about ones frustration. LOL…. why did I use the frustration word ๐Ÿ˜›

I Don’t Like Childish Girls

I Don't Like Childish Girls
I Don’t Like Childish Girls

It’s a pretty bold statement when you say something about that you don’t like. But, no serious hate going on here. It’s just recently I came across one such not so adorable personality, who reminded me of so many things which makes girls irritating. I met a childish woman(not a girl, she was way above her twenties).

To start with first let me clarify, what I mean by childish girls?

A childish girl is, who is no longer a child (as per her age), not even a teen, so I would prefer to call her a woman, but who will try to speak like a child, when in company of others(specifically note down this point), to impress others by making herself look like some innocent girl lost in the woods.

Why I don’t like such girls? Well, here is a story to tell….

Once upon a time…. oh cut this crap……. When I came to live in a new city and a new job, I landed on a group of girls who seemed like just out from the movie, โ€œMean Girlsโ€. They were always wearing high heels, fashionable brands, not actually wearing but flaunting the brands all over; will always walk in groups, even when they would go to loo; always have their sunglasses on, yes even inside office’s air conditioned and all covered building; would always talk in third person; and mostly be surrounded by guys.

Surprisingly, they refer all the guys of their group, as their brothers, or just friends ๐Ÿ˜› preferably chosen to do chores for them. Yes, boys, lesson number one, if you think that you are just friend with a girl, who usually keeps you around for making, her life easier….. No, she is not that into you.

I Don't Like Childish Girls
Child Like??

Coming back to The Group, their was one girl in the group, who always seems to me, as she didn’t belong their. She was always well spoken, more than just polite, infact like a child. Now, you know, where I am going….

Whenever, I use to talk to my friends about The Group, I used to say, how this one girl is so sweet and she even talks like a kid. She seems to be really nice, but lost, like Alice in Wonderland, in somewhat new world.

To give you a taste of how she used to speak, if you would ask her โ€œhave you taken your breakfast? She will replay back (Please try to read as some 5 year girl would say it), Ohhhhh, I totally forgot. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I didn’t even had milk. What will I do now? Can you please take me to cafeteria? Will you go with me, Please, Please plzzzzzzzzzzz.โ€

I Don't Like Childish Girls

Yes, I know. Laugh it off.

I was that naive to think of all this as โ€œher innocenceโ€. It all washed down, in a single day actually, when The Group decided to live with me, as roommates.ย

So, the very first day, I prefer to call it, the great eye opener day, firstly every brand of clothe came out and they were now in the dirtiest or I would say somewhat old and torn clothes. Contacts from eyes out, big ugly glasses, in. Straight hairs with shining gels out, messy hair with curlers, in. Hygienic attitude out, dirty laundry and dishes in bedroom, in. High class talk out, gossip about the girl in other cubicle, in. Hollywood movies and English shows out, Balika Vadhu and Kahani Ghar Ghar ki type, in. Not that any of this matters, as everyone is somewhat like this when at home. But…….

Most importantly, I heard a loud shrieking and never ever heard before voice, โ€œOne tomato is less in fridge, I have just brought it today from the market? Who has taken my tomato?โ€

Yes, she was the same innocent, child like polite girl screaming her lungs out for one tomato.

My experience over the years (yes, I managed to make it more than a year with them), told me that, she was using her childish behavior as a way to impress others and to make them love her more. When at home or alone, she was as normal, as everyone else. Just a fake…

I Don't Like Childish Girls

Now, every time I saw a girl, sorry woman, talking like a child ( not when they are talking to a child), I just laugh in my head and say good bye to the child lady, to live in peace. ๐Ÿ™‚

Along Came A Spider

Along Came A Spider
Along Came A Spider

A thrilling, fast paced novel filled with gory details., but this is not all which can be said about James Patterson’s famous novel โ€œAlong Came A Spiderโ€. For the lovers of thrillers and psychotic characters, this could be among the best choices, but if you are not very fond of insane characters, than go take a nap instead.

This novel takes a very good start by building the very gruesome foundation for our psychotic character Gary Sonezi, who starts off by kidnapping and killing an infant mercilessly. You can guess easily what he is capable of doing, if he starts his killing spree in such a sick way.

To match this psychotic killer we have our very own hero in the form of Alex Cross, the famous homicide detective who is determined and passionate about his work. Main plot starts off with kidnapping of two kids, one girl Maggie Rose and her friend, Shrimpie asย  known popularly . What makes this kidnapping, a crime of the century, is the fact that both the kids belong to the affluent families, one being kid of a celebrity and other one of treasury. In-fact the kids had their own personal bodyguards assigned to them by the secret services for protection.

Alex Cross is assigned to solve this kidnapping, along with Jezzie, from the Secret Services, who later becomes his love interest too. The mastermind of kidnapping, Gary Sonezi is shown as a cruel and devilish person, who has no remorse or soul, indeed he is a brilliant plotter who is always two steps ahead of Cross and whole bunch of secret service personnel. He comes across as one who makes backup plan, of a backup plan. Still he was caught in a very dramatic way. Later, however it does looked like, that this was also a part of his terrific plan.

Their is one interesting twist to the whole story, when even the kidnapper got duped by some opportunists. Incidentally Gary Sonezi, trustsย Alex Cross to solve the final mystery more than himself or the police. Their is also a dramatic turn of events with a double personality disorder, which was actually being shown marvelously.

Now, coming to the points where this novel lacks, is number one it is pretty boring in the second half. It seemed to stretch beyond a point making it dull and heavy. At one point you just want to put down the book, but you are hanging only to see if Gary received the punishment he deserved. Romance is exaggerated and in such a boring taste. You can yawn easily between the love making sessions. They talk as if no two lovers or even normal persons talk to each other. What disgust me about this novel is the Racism card, which was played over and over. Their was no such need to glorify it or to make it such a big deal. It was like getting distracted by something which is so out of place for this kind of a book.

Only thing that this book needs is a better editing.Rest, it is a marvelous story told beautifully.

In His Papa’s Shoes

In His Papa's Shoes

Bollywood movies have brainwashed us with their concept of Twins, wherein, one would be Evil and other a Saint; or if you will pinch one, other twin will cry. (I so want to try this) ๐Ÿ˜›

In His Papa's Shoes

I have yet to see this in real world, however; in my life with my two twin sons, what I do see is amazingly beautiful.

In His Papa's Shoes

Both are totally different personalities, in some way, poles apart. Surprisingly, one who have inherited my looks, behaves mostly like his father; and the one who has got his dashing looks from his Papa, is all me from inside.

In His Papa's Shoes

Today, I am writing about Renne; one who has heart and hairs of his father ๐Ÿ™‚

In His Papa's Shoes

Every morning, it’s his daily ritual to wake up with his Papa, wait at the door of bathroom, till Papa comes out, all freshen up.

Their onwards Renne’s sole job is to make his Papa ready for office. First he will go to his Papa’s cupboard and pick out a shirt for him. Most of the times it will be the one which his Papa has thrown on the floor after wearing it a day before. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Both father and son will spend nearly an hour in deciding what to wear. Renne will even try to buckle up the belt for his Papa. LOL… that looks so funny, when he tries that.

Papa is hardly ready, when Renne starts running towards his shoe cupboard. He will pick out the black formal shoes (always, I don’t know what’s his fascination with them), and then he will search for the socks. He has to search because his Papa is good in throwing things around. By the time Papa is seated to put on the shoes, Renne is busy finding matching socks. He somehow manages to do so everyday (even I am not able to search them sometimes), and will hand them over one by one to his Papa. One sock at a time, then the shoes.

Papa just have to do one thing on his own โ€“ comb his hair, because Renne can not reach there, otherwise he would have done that too. Next he will give lunchbox and tea to his Papa.

What’s left is, giving a goodbye kiss to his Papa, that too he do very diligently. Me, Jealous.:(

In His Papa's Shoes
Renne with Papa

From where did Renne learned all this? Who else, than his Papa himself?

I have seen my hubby, still taking care of his father’s appearance, whenever he is stepping out of home. His shoes are shining or not? Clothes are cleaned and ironed or not? Who washed his car? Which driver is going to drive today? What is his schedule? How much time he will spend in each of his meeting? Phew!!!

In His Papa's Shoes
Papa’s Fav Boy

Sometimes, I used to joke with my hubby, that he looks more like a personal assistant than a son, when it come to his father. He used to say to me (actually, still says), โ€œI can be anything for my Papa. He is everything.โ€

In His Papa's Shoes
Papa’s Baby

Now, my hubby has someone in his life, for whom, He Is Everything. ๐Ÿ™‚
