My Kiddo Wants to Marry Me

Yesterday I was shopping and happen to find a beautiful three-piece suit for kids. I immediately grabbed it along with my boys and took them to fitting room. How cute they will be in a suit? I am a typical mother, you see.

So, I was trying it on Otu, my elder son; while Renne the younger one was standing beside me. Both of them are two and half-year old and are handsome twins. 🙂

So, as I was trying it on Otu, here is the conversation that took place between the three of us.

Otu: Mamma, I am a Man now??

At first I didn’t understand, but then I realized he has associated wearing a three-piece suit with being a grown up man. He is not a boy in t-shirt anymore. How smart he is? 😛

Me: Yes baby. You are big now. You are a Man.

Otu: Mamma, I marry now.

Oh, so sweet!! my kiddo wants to get married. Time flies. 😥

Me: Yes baby. You can get married now.

Otu grinning from one ear to another.

Me: Who do you want to get married to?

Otu: I want to marry you, Mamma. (with a little shyness)

Me: (no words coming out of my mouth because I am too busy smiling, crying and hugging my baby all at the same time)

Me: I love you baby. Yes, I will marry you.

Me and Otu happy now. 😎

I thought of further extending my good luck and so I dared to face Renne, the twin brother.

Me: Renne, do you want to get married?

Renne: YEEESSSS!!!!!

Me: Who you want to marry to?

Renne: Princess!!!! 😛

Me: What????????

Me: What about me? You don’t want to marry Mamma?

Renne: No. No, I want Princess.

Oh! Renne Singh, you know how to break a girl’s heart. 😦

Wednesday Words – I am 1 Year now

1 Year of Blogging by Jyoti Singh
1 Year of Blogging

I have completed a whole year of writing/blogging. It is not a big achievement but indeed it is an achievement, because I had never thought that I would write, and that too for a full whole year. Phew!!!

Surprisingly, when I look back and read my past posts, I laugh at myself. Not because I am an amateur (mediocre) writer but because whatever I have written so far, does not involve any brain. It’s pure heart. Whatever I have felt, I have put in words and published to the world in my blog. Sometimes personal stuff too….. now, don’t go back to archives and try to read all my personal stuff. 😉

Writing is a great thing. If I could convince everyone, I would advise them to write. No matter what you are writing, and for whom you are writing, but do write. You need not publish it to the world, just write for yourself. Because when you are writing about how you are feeling, you are actually feeling all your feelings, and this is great way to self analyze yourself and the direction to which you are going. I was always a positive minded person, but since I have started writing I have started feeling positivity in others too. Now, I don’t react unless I put myself in others shoes and think of why they did, what they did?

It’s actually meditation too, which has made me more focused, but to tell you truly, when I am writing I am thinking. I am thinking about my life, about my family, about people around me, my friends, about where I am headed in my life. Isn’t this what we all lack a self motivated direction?

What is even more satisfying is when I get positive/negative reviews and comments from my readers and followers. It does boost confidence and motivates you to do good things in your life, to be more positive, more grateful towards your life. I really feel blessed because I have changed my life and I am going strong.

Thanks to all of you. I love you guys. ❤

In His Papa’s Shoes

In His Papa's Shoes

Bollywood movies have brainwashed us with their concept of Twins, wherein, one would be Evil and other a Saint; or if you will pinch one, other twin will cry. (I so want to try this) 😛

In His Papa's Shoes

I have yet to see this in real world, however; in my life with my two twin sons, what I do see is amazingly beautiful.

In His Papa's Shoes

Both are totally different personalities, in some way, poles apart. Surprisingly, one who have inherited my looks, behaves mostly like his father; and the one who has got his dashing looks from his Papa, is all me from inside.

In His Papa's Shoes

Today, I am writing about Renne; one who has heart and hairs of his father 🙂

In His Papa's Shoes

Every morning, it’s his daily ritual to wake up with his Papa, wait at the door of bathroom, till Papa comes out, all freshen up.

Their onwards Renne’s sole job is to make his Papa ready for office. First he will go to his Papa’s cupboard and pick out a shirt for him. Most of the times it will be the one which his Papa has thrown on the floor after wearing it a day before. 😮

Both father and son will spend nearly an hour in deciding what to wear. Renne will even try to buckle up the belt for his Papa. LOL… that looks so funny, when he tries that.

Papa is hardly ready, when Renne starts running towards his shoe cupboard. He will pick out the black formal shoes (always, I don’t know what’s his fascination with them), and then he will search for the socks. He has to search because his Papa is good in throwing things around. By the time Papa is seated to put on the shoes, Renne is busy finding matching socks. He somehow manages to do so everyday (even I am not able to search them sometimes), and will hand them over one by one to his Papa. One sock at a time, then the shoes.

Papa just have to do one thing on his own – comb his hair, because Renne can not reach there, otherwise he would have done that too. Next he will give lunchbox and tea to his Papa.

What’s left is, giving a goodbye kiss to his Papa, that too he do very diligently. Me, Jealous.:(

Renne with Papa

From where did Renne learned all this? Who else, than his Papa himself?

I have seen my hubby, still taking care of his father’s appearance, whenever he is stepping out of home. His shoes are shining or not? Clothes are cleaned and ironed or not? Who washed his car? Which driver is going to drive today? What is his schedule? How much time he will spend in each of his meeting? Phew!!!

Sometimes, I used to joke with my hubby, that he looks more like a personal assistant than a son, when it come to his father. He used to say to me (actually, still says), “I can be anything for my Papa. He is everything.

Now, my hubby has someone in his life, for whom, He Is Everything. 🙂
